Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation(MSRTC) to recruit 8948 conductors,6247 drivers,2658 Clerk Typist and 1936 for assistants vacancies.For Driver and Conductor Jobs,students must satisfy medical standards.About 19789 vacancies will fill in august,2012.
Online Application forms invited from male and Women candidates to all positions.2687 Women drivers required,but officials expecting that,only 1000 women’s will apply for these posts.This is clearly showing the shortage of Women drivers in Maharashtra.
Employees in Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation,especially drivers struggling with double duties due to shortage in driver posts.Now it’s look pretty good,at last msrtc decided to recruit 6247 drivers.

Total MSRTC Driver jobs:8948
Pay scale:salary 2790-3870 rupees
Age: 24yrs to 35yrs as on 07th,August,2012
Education Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent along with passenger vehicle driving licence.
Applicants must have ability to read, write and speak Marathi language
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in driving Truck and Passenger Bus
Physical standards:Height:160cms to 180cms
Eye sight: 6/6 without wearing glasses.
MSRTC Conductor Recruitment 2012:
Total MSRTC Conductor Jobs: 6247
Pay scale: Salary 2440 to 3384 rupees
Age: 18yrs to 35yrs as on 07th,August 2012
Education Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. Candidates should posses RTO issued Conductor licence/ certificate
Applicants must have ability to read, write and speak Marathi language
Physical Standards: Height: 158cms for Male candidates and148 cms for Women candidates
MSRTC Assistant Recruitment 2012
Total MSRTC Assistant (Junior): 2658
Pay scale: Salary 2440—3384 rupees
Age: 18yrs to 33yrs as on 07th,August,2012
Education Qualification: Candidates should have done ITI and must posses ITI certificate in any one of
Motor Mechanic,
Sheet Metal,
Electrician/ Auto Electrician,
Wireman,
Blacksmith,
Tinsmith/ Welder,
Painter,
Electronics,
Diesel Mechanic,
Machinist,
Turner and Carpenter.
MSRTC Clerk Recruitment 2012:
Total MSRTC Clerk-Typist (Junior)Jobs: 1936
Pay scale: Salary 2880 —3994 Rupees
Age: 18yrs to 33yrs as on 07th,August,2012
Education Qualification: Primary or Secondary school education from any recognized institutions .Candidate also must have typing speed of 30 words per minute in Marathi language and 40 words per minute in English.
