CAT 2011 NOTIFICATION
CAT(Common Admission Test)-2011 notification was released.every body feel that CAT was toughest exam in the world,and its very similar to GMAT.
CAT(common admission test) is conducting by Indian institute of management(IIM) to get admission in to IIM colleges for post graduation studies.

Application Availability start: 17th august 2011
Last date to apply: 26th October 2011
Last date to apply in online: 28th October 2011
CAT EXAM DATE: 22ND OCTOBER to 18 TH NOVEMBER
CAT results: 11th January 2012.
Syllabus:
When you compare with last year that 2010,this year so many changes came in to this cat exam,syllabus was spitted in to 2 sections
1)Quantitative aptitude & Data interpretation
2)Reasoning & Verbal ability

Number of questions : 30 questions
time to complete ths section: 70minutes
Number of questions from quantitative aptitude: 18-20 questions
Number of questions from Data interpretation: 10-12 questions
Number of questions will be tough in this section: 7-8 questions
2)Reasoning & Verbal ability
umber of questions : 30 questions
time to complete ths section: 70minutes
Number of questions from Verbal ability: 18-20 questions
Number of questions from Reasoning: 10-12 questions

So,its clear that this year the competetion will be high,you need to get the score 18-20 right answers from each section,then only there was an chance of your percentile like between 95-99.99%.
