10% increase——-1.1

and similarly,for 10% decrease———0.9

let me clarify the concept behind it,

initially for any value we will consider 100%

take the value 100

if this value increased 10,then it will become 110

for 100,it will be in percentage 1

for 110,it will be in percentage 1.1

similarly,if the value decreased from 100 to 90,

in percentage,you have to calculate like 90/100=0.9

so the value will become 0.9 itself.

just know the concept, don’t use the formulas while solving the aptitude questions.
